As mentioned in the previous weblog regarding the Club Corp lease of the Arrowcreek residence club,  Club Corp has decided to bench the idea (at least for the time being).

 This may be too simple of an explanation for many but most will appreciate it; this is my observation of what is happening in Arrowcreek: 

• The privately held Arrowcreek golf course has been involved in negotiations to sell their Arrowcreek golf course to Club Corp to add to their holdings of golf properties.
• On a SEPERATE transaction, they wanted to lease the Arrowcreek residence club from the homeowners of Arrowcreek.
• They have now decided not to pursue it at this time (the lease from the HOA).
• The sale of the Arrowcreek golf course is still proceeding as of today.

Some quick thoughts:

 It appears, the residence club lease is not out of the question in the future.

The Arrowcreek sale has a few issues it needs to resolve, their are some buzz-killers out there but most appear unified to proceed.

 Hey, this is one less thing we have to worry about as Arrowcreek homeowners, it seems like it will be fine in any event.
