The City of Reno and the golf home community of Somersett dedicated a new park at Somersett East.

Councilman Dave Aiazzi was on hand with his Posse and Blake Smith the Developer of Somersett displayed it like a newborn baby. 

Rumor has it that Blake Smith is busy with putting a new subdivision in Silver Springs where the Reno Industrial Park is bringing their new highway from Sparks to Silver Springs.

The park is located across from the Somersett Town Square.  They were able to get the $900,000. park done in record time this summer, this is Reno’s 85th park.

Somersett East park is within walking distance of many Somersett Homes, the Somersett Golf Course and Somersett Condos.  It was designed by Hansen Landscape Architects and Q&D Construction is the General Contractor.

I am looking forward to the art displays that they will be installing next spring.  I don’t think they will come close to the statues and art at Arrowcreek and Montreux but these guys are known for doing it right.
