First the good news; the Reno home median sales price of $180,000 sales price was up 6% from June. This may be due to lower interest rates getting people in more expensive Reno homes.

Most Washoe County homeowners will have a reduced property tax bill this month, as updated values take effect throughout the county.
The Washoe County treasurer’s office started mailing tax bills to property owners this month to coincide with the July 1 start of the fiscal year. Enclosed is the link from the Reno Gazette Journal.
