I remember first hand my own experience with a fallen Marine that I will never forget. We had a photo shoot for Christmas and a wonderful proud military Family had arrived with their Father in a full blown Marine outfit like you would see at a Toys for Tot’s drive or perhaps a funeral. They had arrived a little before their appointment so we had agreed to let them go before us knowing that this proud Father was shipping out the next day.

Decided to waltz up to Mt. Rose www.skirose.com ski area before my floor shift and catch some fresh windblown today. Just about the time they had closed Northwest chair because of wind;, I was going up the Slide chair and the liftie said “dude they are looking all over for you bro”.Â

On an otherwise epic Sierra powder day at Squaw Valley C.R. Johnson made his final turns on the light towers steeps today. It is unclear if he was in town for the Squaw Valley Tram Face Extreme Contest next week.
